DJ Orawan first fell in love with DJing after she attended the Full Moon party shortly before she moved to Aukland (NZ) in 2002. She quickly got herself involved in the bustling upcoming Drum & Bass scene. Orawan started DJing at clubs throughout New Zealand before establishing her own successful bi-monthly night, "Kinetic" at FU-Bar.
She’s since returned to Bangkok and is whipping up a storm in SE-Asia playing shows across Thailand to crowds of thousands. Securing herself a residency in one of Bangkok's hottest nightclubs, Bed Supperclub. On top of all this, she also hosts a monthly show on the biggest underground radio station in BKK UB Radio and is one of the minds behind Bangkok’s fastest growing monthly Drum & Bass nights PhatFunk.
Orawan has gone on to play along side International DJs FATBOY SLIM, GOLDIE, LTJ BUKEM, DIRTYPHONICS, MARKY, B. TRAITS, MJ COLE, DEADMAU5, SEIJI (Bugz in the Attic) and FUTUREBOUND to name a few.
2011 has seen Orawan launch a new concept at Bed Supperclub ‘Vinyl Sisters’. Orawan DJs along side DJ D’zier to create something truly unique adding a whole new female flavour to the Bangkok music scene on a weekly basis.
You can catch her monthly set on http://www.UBRadio.net, every Tuesday and Saturday at Bed Supperclub.
