He started Dj-ing on an Illegal Pirate Radio in 1992 on Transmission-1 on 107.3Fm playing UK Hardcore Break beats, Jungle, House and Garage and evolved with the London Dance scene as it was constantly changing. He has played a major role in pushing the boundaries of Rave Music and was one of the underground scene builder’s in London.
After a few years on the circuit he soon got his exposure from the Pirate Radio and was approached by certain promoters around London and Scotland and was offered nights at various clubs in London like The Ministry of Sound Elephant & Castle, Bagleys Kings cross, Subterranea Ladbroke Grove and also at the world’s famous Notting Hill Carnival and in Scotland at the Venue, Club Purple, Stereo, Tin pan alley Glasgow, subway, Manga, and club Burlin.
In 2008 after finishing his Sound Engineering and Music Production course at JEVC he got together and teamed up with a group of like minded friends in Scotland who go by the name of “Electrikal” and his now representing them as their international resident Dj in Asia. Electrikal is the most promising event organisation in Scotland in 2010 and is growing from strength to strength day by day so be sure to look out for them!!. http://www.electrikal.net
Mello D is now currently living in Thailand and since his arrival in June 2009 he has played in all the big clubs and events around the country such as the famous Full Moon Party Phangan Island, Sunrise Bar, Eagle Bar, Sandy Bay, Phangan Bay Shore Resort, club Jumunjy, Rout66 RCA, Butter Butter Ratchada, Shock 39, Club Gullivers, club Lava Gold, club Demo, Club Concept CM2 Siam Square, Lo-Shu, Club Play, Cafe de Moc, Zoom out Pattaya dance festival, and all of Lush events in Thailand, You can also catch him on the first Tuesday of every month from 8pm BKK time and 2.pm GMT on UB Radio playing all the UK underground Rave music. http://www.Ubradio.net.
