To ride along on set by Tim is to be taken on a sonic odyssey through an array of House genres that cover soulful and deep, jackin’ and bumpy, tech and minimal, funky and chunky. Always at the forefront of the ever-changing styles of House, Tim’s selections are guaranteed to be infectious tracks that get the bodies rockin’. His sets often end with ovations and people screaming for more. Having witnessed the rise and peak of the House explosion in the UK during the early 90’s and seen such legendary Dj’s as Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, Sasha, and Ralph Lawson, Tim got himself a pair of decks, started collecting records and was soon playing gigs in Leeds, where he was attending university. In 1997 he moved back to his hometown of London and started a monthly party called, “Cheeky”, emulating the vibe he experienced in Leeds. Shortly after that came appearances at Mint Bar and regular sets at the afterhours sessions, “Babushka”, held at The Cross. A year later, craving new experiences and a desire to spread his love of music to a new audience, Tim set off for Sydney and was soon revitalizing the music scene at his residencies at The Underground and Sugar Reef. In 1999, he settled in Cambodia and soon became part of the “Sauce” party collective, a group famous for their legendary free parties set in unique locations such as colonial hilltop hotels in the jungle and pre-war casino boats on the Mekong River. During the next three years, Tim spun throughout Asia and forged lasting friendships with key figures in the Bangkok, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore dance scenes. February 2004 saw Tim make a permanent move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He landed a residency at a new club called, “Passion”, and, as the club’s Director of Entertainment, helped establish Passion as one of KL’s premier House music venues by bringing his unique sound and style as well as collaborating with Café Del Mar for their 25th anniversary (and their 1st trip to Asia), Club Risk from Amsterdam and Bed Supper Club Bangkok. He also brought over Mark Knight from The Ministry of Sound as well as Liquid People, Audiowhores and Richard Earnshaw to appreciative KL audiences. After Passion, Tim freelanced at some of KL's most poular new venues, such as Heritage Mansion, Bar 21 and Space. He has also Dj’ed for many high profile events and club launches, and was recently selected as one of the asia tour residents for the club night, 'In Bed with Space' Ibiza. Recent inspirations include the work of artists’ such as, The Inland Knights, The Littlemen, Johnny Fiasco, Troydon, Mastiksoul, Tommy Largo, and Santiago & Bushido to name but a few. During his sets, he seamlessly fuses the Chicago house sound with New Skool West Coast grooves and Nottingham beats and rhythms, locking the crowd to the floor with tracks that are never commercial but always accessible, ensuring a memorable night for all.
