Greg’s sound ranges from deep, hypnotic grooves to tech-edged beats to driving techno and everything inbetween. “I play a pretty varied range of stuff, but I’d like to think there’s always an underlying sense of melody to my sets."

Greg’s DJ career was unashamedly kick-started by the desire to have the best job in the world. “I couldn’t imagine anything better than making a living out of playing music,” he says “and having no tangible musical ability of my own, this was the only way I was going to be able to do it.”

At 16 he was the weekly resident for Karanga – one of the biggest House promotion outfits in the South West, and regularly span at clubs in Bath and Bristol. After moving to Brighton, he secured slots at The Ocean Rooms, Honey Club and won a DJ competition to win a weekly residency at one of the South’s most established clubs; The Zap.

Now living in London, Greg is employed as the Website Editor for the mighty Defected Records, celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year. “Although musically I’ve moved away from the records Defected put out, working there has been a true education and gives me an amazing overview of the industry. I get sent a lot of music to review and this helps me put together the best possible sets when I play out”.

In the last 6 months Greg has won two more DJ competitions; the first of which saw him spin alongside London legend Hector at the Rhythm Factory for up-and-coming label and club promotion team Further Project, who will be hosting a stage at the 2009 Glade Festival. The second won him a monthly residency at The Egg for Repress which will see him playing alongside Freerange’s Matt Masters and Toolroom’s Mark Storie.
