Born in 1983, Sunju Hargun was raised in Bangkok, surrounded by a variety of music genres. Throughout his education, music was identified as an early passion of his. As Sunju entered his early teens, he had the opportunity to own his first pair of CD Mixers. DJ Sunju Hargun had arrived In 2002 Sunju moved to Shanghai, China and attended an amount of Events to see his favorite artist’s Such as Danny Tegnalia, Christopher Lawrence, and John ‘OO’ Flemming, Above and Beyond, Sasha, John Digweed, and Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten and Many More Respected Artist.

His Passion for Electronic Dance Music Started to grow which was shortly after making 5 trips a week to the DJ Shop and Studio to Practice he Purchased his First Pair of PIONEER CDJ 100’s. In the First Year He held 2 residences in Oasis Italian Bar and Club Jay’s in Shanghai which gave him an opportunity to gain a personal and very unique style of electronic music to the public. 2 residencies led Sunju to share his passion in more prestigious and well respected venues in Shanghai, which was where he met a fellow group of dj’s and formed into the “Ascension Crew” best known for their quality of dance music & a weekly residency at Club Guandii.

Ascension DJ’S were involved at the 2004 Chivas pres. DJ Sasha Live @ Shanghai Science Technology Museum which gave Sunju popularity among the biggest Promoters and Clubs in Asia Such as Hongkong, Manila, Thailand and Northern and Southern China. Sunju’s ability to Control a large Crowd grew bigger and gained him his 2007-2008 Residency at One of the Best dance Clubs of Guangzhou, China “The Cellar Club” (www.the-cellar.com.cn). Whom he Played Side by Side with Artists Such like Arun R from Hongkong and DJ Chozie Wong from one of the Best Clubs in the Northern Part of China “Club Suzie Wong”.

During his Residency he has worked with Companies such as Absolute Vodka and Tiger Beer and was featured as a Highlight DJ of 2008 from www.Gznightlife.com.” At Present Sunju has put endless and tireless effort behind the decks with a dedication to the crowd which is rarely topped. His spectacular beat mix and EQ techniques and his desire to explore other styles such as Electro and Break Beats & the finest Progressive Tech House Sounds give him the arsenal t o deliver a top notch quality show everyone is sure to remember.

Sunju’s career as a DJ has been diverse in nature. Absorbing and adapting to the newest and upcoming trends, He has kept his eyes and ears open and his fingers on the very pulse o f electronic dance music, some dating back to the late 90’s.
