Born, Alexander Ginzburg, Port Jefferson, New York, USA, Ginza
wrote his first piece of music at age 14, 1992, on the classical
guitar. The piece earned him national honors and the prize money to
buy nicer guitar than the piece of shit he first composed on. He moved
to Atlanta in 1996 to further his education of orchestration, jazz,
and electronic music at Emory University. After graduation, It took
Alex 6 years to evolve a home project studio in to a fully blown up
state of the art recording facility (earthonestudios.com) on par with
any of the major record labels own facilities. Building this
impressive facility one recording at a time, and having himself
engineered, produced, and mastered hundreds of tracks for Soul,
Afro-Beat, Jazz, Hip-Hop, R+B, Reggae, Electronic and Indie artists
around the world, he brings 18 years of musical expression and
experience to the stage.

Ginza's debut roots reggae album "Dread Prophecy" releases to the
world in 2009. Ginza serves up an all star cast of seasoned reggae
musicians who have toured and shared the stage with Damian and Stephen
Marley, the Melody Makers, Bunny Wailer, Augustus Pablo, Midnite,
Culture, Sons of Negus, and more. Mixing roots songs and a twist of
progressive dub-wise instrumentals to keep both culture and
jam/electronic crowds up-full to the soulful frequency of the Earth
One vision. A Ginza performance is scalable from 5 to 14 musicians on
stage in perfect harmony, depending on the promoters budget and
intention for a given show.

DJ Ginza's electronic PA set performances delivers a full serving
of various electronic styles gracefully mixing between slow and fast
tempos building to high peaks and jumping off into valleys of world
influenced breaks, dub, drum and bass, dubstep, downtempo, big beat,
and acid jazz. Often remixing direct from his works as a reggae/hip
hop producer and remixing these elements to create energized mash ups.
Because he works from a live PA Ginza can dynamically improvise to
follow the crowds energy creating a strongly unique experience at
every individual performance.
